Who is Candide?

Hello internet visitor! 👋🏿 My name is Candide Uyanze. I'm a creative technologist, digital artist, video editor, photographer, designer, researcher, educator, daughter, sister, friend... Essentially, I'm a multi-hyphenate doer of things!

I'm particularly interested in exploring themes of memory, identity, and virtually-mediated human connections between people of African descent. I do so using web, video, photography, and tech-driven interactive installations.
